Sumit is the President of Technology, Media and Entertainment Business, and is a key member of the Leadership team at Tech Mahindra. He leads a strategic portfolio of businesses and subsidiaries operating at the leading edge of new-age technologies.

Before joining Tech Mahindra, Sumit held various leadership positions with significant responsibilities, including P&L ownership, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem development at leading technology consulting and services organizations. At Deloitte, he was the Managing Director for the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Industry, and at Tata Consultancy Services, he served as Vice President and Head of the HiTech industry. With over 25 years of international experience, Sumit is recognized for his ability to drive entrepreneurial success and transform large business units across industries such as TMT, Retail & CPG, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Travel & Transportation, and Manufacturing.

As a long-term resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sumit maintains strong connections with leadership teams across multiple organizations. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India, and has participated in management development programs at the University of Michigan, Arizona State University, and Imperial College, UK.
