John Struempf is an accomplished senior executive with over two decades of Executive leadership experience across enterprise software, customer experience, and recurring revenue transformation. As Vice President of Recurring Revenue Acceleration at Cisco, he leads global initiatives to drive adoption of Cisco’s software and services portfolio, reduce customer attrition, and maximize annual recurring revenue (ARR). In this role, John is focused on building an AI-powered organization to accelerate customer value and fuel sustainable growth.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Customer Experience – Go-to-Market Growth and Business Development, where he spearheaded global expansion strategies and led the successful incubation of new offers within Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) business.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, John is deeply committed to community impact. Prior to serving on the Board of Ambassadors he has supported the Covenant House in its mission to combat youth homelessness.
A graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California, John is a life long Bay Area resident who currently resides in Danville with his wife Stephanie and their two dogs. He is the proud father of two sons, who both are collegiate football players at the University of San Diego. A passionate sports enthusiast, John is also an avid golfer.
